Accross the citizen participation program in Madagascar, JADD Madagascar is conducting a voting education campaign towards the citizens, with the aim of increasing citizen’s understanding and confidence in electoral processess, to improve the participation of voters, mainly women, young people, and promote informed and inclusive participation « in the elections ».
This program is led by EISA Madagascar, in collaboration with civil society organizations in Madagascar. JADD Madagascar started the campaign by training 45 young presenters and supervisors to be deployed during the project. Therefore, they are going to execute a series of raids at 20 communes in the Analamanga Region, for 01 month, this campaign focuses on interpersonal communication, mass awarenes, exchanges with local associations as well as digital communication. More than 10.000 citizens will be sensetized, particularly young first-time voters, women, people with disabilities, the initiative is funded by USAID.
