JADD Madagascar

From June 2 to 4, 2025, JADD Madagascar participated in the BIC Africa Staff Exchange in Moroni, Comoros, as part of the INCUBOOST project. This mission proved to be a significant experience, rich in learning, networking, and opportunities for regional cooperation between malagasy and comorian Incubators.

A Committed Delegation for Regional Entrepreneurship

Represented by Sitraka RASOANAIVO, the Program Officer, JADD Madagascar strongly voiced the organization’s vision during these strategic exchanges. This step follows the dynamic initiated in October 2024, when Comorian incubators were welcomed to Madagascar. This time, it was JADD’s turn to explore the Comorian entrepreneurial ecosystem and strengthen ties between the two islands.

A Dynamic Program Focused on Collaboration

Highlights of the three-day program included:

  • Exchanges with key players in the local ecosystem, such as the National Agency for Investment Promotion (ANPI), the Chamber of Commerce, and several entrepreneurship support organizations. These discussions helped identify the region’s specific challenges and opportunities.
  • Discovering the Maison de l’Emploi, a real springboard for young Comorian project leaders.
  • A promising working session with the Incubator FADDESIM, laying the groundwork for a concrete partnership.
  • Visits to several innovative incubators in Moroni—ComorLab, ComWork, InnovLab—as well as meetings with incubated entrepreneurs and the Moroni solidarity market.
  • A meeting with the European Union Delegation to explore new avenues for synergy between Madagascar and the Comoros.

Towards a Strengthened Regional Dynamic

This immersion enabled JADD Madagascar to consolidate regional ties, enrich its vision for a more inclusive, collaborative, and resilient entrepreneurship, and reaffirm its commitment to support young people and sustainable solutions.

“The energy of these encounters, the quality of the exchanges, and our shared determination to act together inspire us to go even further.”

JADD Madagascar hope to continue its mission as a catalyst for innovation and regional cooperation, serving sustainable entrepreneurship and a promising future for the Indian Ocean region.
