JADD Madagascar

From September 1 to 5, 2025, AY4SD MADAGASCAR participated in an exchange visit to Tunisia. The goal was to explore the best Tunisian practices in supporting startups and social entrepreneurship, while strengthening the capacities of Malagasy Startup Supports Organizations.

The program included visits to key structures in Tunisia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, such as The Dot, which promotes digital innovation, La Fondation Tunisie pour le Développement, which focuses on the professional integration of youth and women, and StartUp Village, a dynamic coworking space for entrepreneurs. Participants also explored initiatives like Lab’Ess and Shanti, which focus on social entrepreneurship and women’s empowerment.

The exchanges allowed for the inspiring and sharing of good practices that could be replicated in Madagascar, particularly tools for incubator support and social innovation programs. Furthermore, collaboration opportunities were identified, with contacts established for future partnerships.

This mission is part of the SEEED project (Support for the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem and Decent Employment) – INCUBOOST, initiated by PPI – People Power Inclusion Indian Ocean and Le Centre d’Excellence en Entrepreneuriat, and supported by the European Union Delegation to Madagascar and the Union of Comoros.
